BY SOUTH AFRICA. (Received September 15, 9.10 p.m.) JOHANNESBURG, Sept. 14. As from to-morrow, South Africa is drastically reducing her imports from non-sterling countries. These include Canada, and Newfoundland. South Africa is also prohibiting private purchases from the United States of America of non-ferrous metals, oil. motor vehicles, fertilisers, machine tools, agricultural machinery, tobacco, paper board, wood pulp, and timber.'
