THOROUGHBRED HORSES.

(Rec. 1.20). LONDON, July 24. Britain since the outbreak of the war has exported to eleven countries, including Australia and New Zealand, over fifteen hundred thoroughbred horses, w'ith an average value of between six hundred and seven hundred pounds. The horses have included four Dertw winners. Two were Bahram and Mahmoud, which were sold to the United States tor forty thousand and twenty thousand sterling respectively. The third was Coronach, which was sent, to JNew Zealand, and the fourth, Cameroman, now bound for the Argentine. Under one-half per cent, of the horses were lost at sea as the result of enemy action. . — ■
