Mr. Charles Keirup, a professional exterminator, and Mr. Jay Atkinson, an engineer, have perfected a radio detector w'hich magnifies the munching sound of white ants so that they may be heard thirty feet distant. Only vibrations peculiar to these termites .are picked up by a small radio box Avhich is used. It is claimed that the invention will greatly assist in the exterminate n of white ants before their actual damage is far advanced.
