RUGBY FOOTBALL
WEST COAST v. BULLER. To-day’s representative game to be played at Rugby Park, between West Coast and Buller, for the Rundle Cup (held by West Coast), is attracting a deal of interest, and should attract a large attendance. The game should give an indication of West Coast’s chance of retaining the Seddon Shield. Although ,D. Dewar has entered camp, S. Hendry has again taken his place (as ViceCaptain) in the team, which will be almost the same as that which so meritoriously defeated Canterbury at Christchurch earlier in the season. Weather conditions are excellent, and recent frosts should make the ground soft to suit the West Coast forwards. The Buller team contains a number of men playing their first representative game, but their supporters, are confident they I will extend the home team. The curtain raiser between the Greymouth and Hokitika third grade representatives, should provide attractive football. On the B ground, Blaketown and Technical fourth graders will meet.
