ANOTHER CRASH
AIR FORCE PLANE DAMAGED. WELLINGTON, May 22. It was officially announced to-day that an aircraft of the R.N.Z.A.F. crashed at Kairanga, near Palmerston North, this morning, and suffered severe damage. The occupants were not injured. N.Z. AIR CASUALTIES. WELLINGTON, May 22. The following Air Force casualties are announced: — Sergeant Erie Rutnerrord Kremlin, killed in flying accident. Father, C. C. Fremlin, Auckland. Pilot Officer Frederick Kenneth Gill, missing on air operations. Mother, Mrs. B. Gill, Auckland. 1 Pilot Officer lan Dromgoole, previously reported missing, believed killed, May, 1940, death now officially confirmed. Father, V. P. Dromgoole, Lyttelton. The following are officially presumed dead:— Pilot Officer Edward Colin Joseph Cameron, previously reported missing believed killed in action, July, 1940. Father A. B. Cameron, Waihi. Pilot Officer Donald Gordon Cobden, previously reported missing, August, 1940. Father, A. D. Cobden, Christchurch. Flying Officer Samuel Miles Mackenzie Watson, previously reported missing, believed killed, July, 1940. Father M. Watson, Wellington.
