THE WEATHER
[Per Press Association] WELLINGTON, March 13. The weather report and forecast are as follows: — General situation: A complex disturbance is moving on to New Zealand, a low pressure centre being located west of Taranaki. Forecast: Winds moderate to strong, northerlies prevailing at first, but a change to south-westerlies or southerlies is extending over the South Island during the next 24 hours. Seas in New Zealand waters moderate between East Cape- and Banks Peninsula; elsewhere, rather rough or rough. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong /northerly winds, later, changing to southwesterly in the'southern . portion; seas rough. Weather cloudy to overcast, with intermittent rain continuing in Western districts, _ and extending to most other districts during the next 24 hours. Some heavy falls in the central provinces. Temperatures mild, but becoming coo.er in the south. _____
