[Our Own Ccrrec.r>nndenK REEFTON. February 24. To stimulate interest in, and to make a convenient point for the taking of enrolments for Reefton Home Guard, a depot was opened in Mrs Osborne’s shop in Broadway on Friday evening. Members of the committee with the officer in command in Reefton (Mr W. Gore Porter) at-

tended. At the close of the evening 20 enrolments had been received, bringing the total to over 50. The initial parade for Reefton for the Home Guard is to be held at the Gymnasium to-morrow at 8 p.m.

Flying Officer Banhan, District Officer-in-Charge of the organisation for the promotion of physical train ing is visiting Reefton.
