LOur Own correspondent] Misses Turley and Finlay of Greymouth, visited Mr. and Mrs. R. Butterworth during the week-end. Mrs. H. L. Evans, has returned after spending a holiday in New Plymouth and Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. F. Callaghan, have returned to Westpert after spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. H. Stanley. Mr. A. Harris left on Tuesday morning for Christchurch to receive medical treatment. Messrs J. Lawry and H. L. Evans, have returned after attending a' conference held in Westport. Mrs. A. Ilton and Miss R. Ilton, are spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. R. Cook and son, are spending a holiday in Wellington. Mr. C. Friend, of Westport, was a visitor on Monday Miss Helen SJeeie, left for Murchison on Friday to take a position school teaching. Mrs. M. Berdinner and family, returned on Sunday after spending an extended holiday at Mokihinui. The Picture Co. held the weekly euchre tourney in the hall on Monday evening. Mrs. J. Morgan and Mr. A. Geddes tied for the prize. The Patriotic Committee ran the usual card games on Tuesday evening. Mrs. M. Shearer won the prize for the whist games and Mr. A. Geddess won the euchre prize.
