STOCK EXCHANGES CHRISTCHURCH, January 7. Sale reported: New Zealand Refrigerating 20s 6d.! COMPANY DIVIDENDS WELLINGTON, J'anuary 7. The Stock Exchange Association has been aflvised that Imperial Chemical Industries of Australia and New Zealand, ’ Limited, have declared a dividend for the half-year ending January 31, 1941, on preference shares, at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum, to be paid on that date. Cabled advice from the head office of the Commercial Bank of Australia’, Melbourne,, states that an' interim dividend for the six months at the rate of four per cent, on preference shares and at six and two-thirds P e r cent, per annum on ordinary shares will be paid on February 7, 19.11, in Australian currency.
BRADFORD WOOL LONDON January 5. The Bradford weekly wool chart gives the average prices of wool tops and yarns in December as 15.8 d, compared with 15.7 d in November, and 11.7 d last year. Firms engaged on Government orders are busy, but there .is some falling off in civilian allocations.
