LOur Own Correspondent] Members of the Red Cross Society held a meeting in the school on Monday night to arrange for the presentation of the 1939 Red Cross certificates which have _ not yet been nresented. It wa<s decided to hold a social for this purpose on Monday. September 16th, and to invite ail the members of the Society to attend. During the meeting, on behalf oT the members of the 1940 class, a presentation was mad e hy the secretary, (Mrs L. Hall) to the lecturer Mrs J. Braithwaite, in the form of a pair of artery forceps, surgical scissors, and a fancy plate. Mrs Braithwaite suitably acknowledged th P gift.
