WEST COAST DELEGATES’ MEETING. At the West Coast Rugby League executive meeting last evening there 'were present': Messrs P. BlAnchfield (chairman), J. Stokes, L. Hunter, W. Hopkins, J. J. Anisy, A. Kyle, C. Morel, P. Sweetman (Junior Advisjory Board). H. Bassett (Referees’ Association), A. Williams anti RGlynn (Runanga Club), R Pollock (Marist), B. F. Connors and R. Neilson (Blackball), K. Creagh (Brunner), and W. Moore' (secretary). Apologie s for absence were received from Messrs A, Fielding, and B. Ramsay. Th o report of the manager of the West'Coast team, Mr J. Griffen, was received. An application from R. Horn e for a transfer from the Greymouth Club to the Marist Club was granted. , Regarding next Sunday's matches, a letter from the Marist Old Boys’ Club for a bye, As they wished to play Lindwood in what was an annual fixture, ,wa s granted Two teams, Ngaher P and Runanga, were put in the hat and Runanga were drawn out to play Blackball. It was ’agx*eed on th P motion of Messrs Morel and Hopkins that the Blackbail-Runanga match be fore the Bradshaw Cup and Knock-out combined. Mr Williams’ motion that Marist be permitted to play Linwood on Sunday was carried. A letter from th e Inangahua Rugby League congratulating the Coast team on winning the Anisy Shield was received. A letter was received from th e Riecarton Club for a junior game on September 14. It. was decided to play Riccarton juniors and Runanga juniors at Runanga on th e dat e named subject to the Riccarton team being endorsed Accounts passed for payment amounted to £32 10s 3d. Mr Neilson moved and Mr Creagh seconded that th e fixtures be drawn up at the beginning of the season and forwarded to .the clubs in printed form, and that they be strictly adhered to and not be altered without consent of th e clubs. The motion was carried. 11 was decided that the junior representatives assemble at the Rich* rnond Hotel at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The secretary was instructed to write to the various bus services asking them to render a better service for patrons travelling to and from Wingham Park.

McElwee presided at the weekly meeting of the Management Committee of th e Inangahua Rugby League. It was resolved to forward a letter to Mr E. Chandler wishing him a speedy recovery from hi s illness. Correspondence was received from th e station master at Reefton giving details as to the running of special trains. It was decided that the secretary arrange with th e Department for the running of a train to Greymouth on September 29 for the Northern Union Cup match with West Coast. It was decided to forward a letter to the West Coast Rugby League congratulating them on the success of their representative team in wresting the Ainsy Shield from Canterbury. Discussion took plac e on th 0 practice of Clubs playing senior players in third grade matches and it was decided that the weight limit for third grade players be lOst 71b s and that Clubs be advised that the Leagu e would not countenance the playing of senior players in these'matches. Th e referee of th e Waratah-Grey Valley senior match reported that h§ had ordered two players off the field for fighting and it was decided to place both on th e caution list. It was also reported that a third grade player had behaved in an offensive manner whilst on the sideline at the same match and it was decided to write to the person concerned advising that the League did not. appreciate his conduct and that he had been suspended from playing Rugby League foot-: ball' The following fixtures were drawn up for September 15:— Senior: Waratahs v.
