Trondheim, which the R.A.F. had badly damaged, is now . being strengthened as a “northern Singapore,” with short batteries and antiaircraft guns. The training of German solders has been intensified during the past fortnight, including- that of cavalry, who jump from crags into the sea, and then swim out to transports and embark by special gangways.
