BYRD LANDS
On Small Island [Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] NEW YORK, March 13. Admiral Byrd radioed that he has begun unloading the North Star at the eastern-most base, on a small island in Marguerite Bay, south of Rymill’s 1936 camp. This place is snow-free. Apparently Rymill’s camp is intact. It was sighted from the air.
