BRUNNER NOTES

[Our Own Correspondent], Mr. S. Wallace, of Greymouth, is relieving the Postmaster here, Mr. J. Simpson, who left on Monday lor Gore on annual holiday. Miss Jean Boustridge, of Dobson, has returned home after being an inmate of the Grey Hospital for the past three months. Mr. G. Henderson, of Brunner railway staff, left on Monday for South Canterbury, where his father is seriously ill. At a meeting of the Wallsend Drama Circle on Saturday, Mr. J. Simpson was elected President and Mrs. Devlin Secretary. It was decided to enter plays for both the Centennial and Hokitika Festivals. Mr. and Mrs. G. Porteous are acting as producers.
