Dr. Duncan Cook, referring to Captain ’Blights qualities as a navigator and seamen, said that after having been cast adrift, in a small boat with a few loyal companions and the barest necessities, the victim of the Mutiny of the Bounty sailed 3000 miles in two months through uncharted seas and dangerous reefs, to Timor Island. This epic voyage had been matched only by the Polynesian sailors, Marv Bryant, the Australian convict, and Lieutenant Shackleton, who. in. our time, had sailed from El entrant Island to the Falkland Islands.
