Portion .of Australia's . new Army for overseas marched through the main traffic thoroughfares of Sydney to-day in brilliant sunshine. . They were chered by an admiring crowd of half a million people, who throngeu the route of two and a-half miles to the saluting base outside of the City Town Hall. The base was occupied by an impressive group of military leaders, including the' GovernorGeneral, Lord Gowrie, Commander-in-Chief of the Australian military forces, and Lieutenant-General sir Thomas Blarney, who will lead the army, into battle. Six thousand men took part in the parade, which creat ed a deep impression on the people,
