Royal Surprise Likely The Greymouth Trotting Club’s Summer Meeting will conclude today, when large fields will again parade. Royal Surprise will be a fancied runner in the Greymouth T.C. Handicap, in which Purina and Kilrea should also prove good stayers. Trotting Notes Omitted: Gold Bar was omitted from the usi of acceptances for both trotting events at the Reefton T.C. meeting to-morrow. How Good Is He? Just, how gcod is Zingarrie was the question asked on all sides at the Greymouth T.C. meeting yesterday just before he was subjected to a setback which settled all his chances in the Intermediate Handicap. Zingarrie had lost considerable .ground at the start and after standing the field up easily 72 yards he was htterally mowing them down in the turn going out of the straight where he had to be eased right up and pulled out on account of a horse and sulky being thrown out in his path. Zingarrie is a true pacer once on the journey and should prove a real racehorse in the immediate future.
