LOur Own Correspondent!. The local mine continues to work Nicholls returned during the week-end, after a holiday visit to Wellington. t Mrs F. Ireland has returned after being an inmate of Westport HospitaHon. W. H. Mclntyre left for Nelson during the week. Messrs W. Watson, junr., and D. Closs, visited Greymouth last Saturday to attend a conference of the General Workers’ Union. Mrs D. Closs also visited Greyrnotith. Mr W. Clarke (President ot the Miners' Union) and Mr W. Watson, junr., (Country Delegate of the General Labourers’ Union) were appointed at the last Bullex' Trades Council meeting to look into the selling prices of commodities at Millerton. Mr R. Mclntyre was a, visitor to Westport during the week.
