TEAM WANTS TO STAY IN . NEW YORK, September 5. The 'Australian tennis team is arriving at New York to-day. Hoeman telephohed Mr Kitts of the United States Lawn Tennis Association pleading that the team was anxious ; io compete ■ in the National .Championships and suggesting there was‘ ho need for panic or for a rush homewards. They were awaiting a cable decision at 5.48 a.m. \
