ROTARY CONFERENCE

OPENS AT SYDNEY. (Received September 5, 11.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, September 6. The All-Australia Rotary Conference which is being attended by several New Zealand delegates, was opened to-day by a recorded speech by the Federal Attorney-General and the war-time Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. W. M. Hughes), while Mr. Ralph Maynard, President of the Sydney Rotary Club, welcomed a thousand delegates representative of Rotary International. Dr. Crawford McCullough announced that Australia now had 3500 Rotarians.
