NEW YORK, September 3. The United Press of America Berlin correspondent says the German Army claimed that it had . captuied i Radsomske, the site of an important: Polish airport, 60 miles south of Warsaw. It admitted the loss of 21 planes I but claimed that it had destroyed 12u Polish planes. HITLER TO COMMAND. ON EASTERN FRONT. ’ NEW YORK, September 3. The Berlin correspondent of the United Press of America states that, dressed in uniform and with a bodyguard, Herr Hitler motored to the eastern front at 8.45 p.m., to assume command of the armies. The South Front german advance. POLES NOW STAND FOR BIG BATTLE. (Received September 5, 1.10 a.m.) WARSAW, September 4. A report from the Polish southern front states that the Poles have been executing a strategic retreat, and they now are concentrating their forces behind the hills on a line from Cracow to Katowice. On this line the first big battle is expected to occur. The Germans have occupied Rybmk, Teschen and Frystat and have reached the suburbs of Katowice. The Germans are pouring in by the Moravian Gate. They are endeavouring to cut the Polish communications between the cities of Katowice and Cracow. Polish Success FRONTIER STATION RECAPTURED. (Received September 4, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, September 3. Radio at Warsaw has announced that Poland has recaptured the frontier station of Zbazyri.
