Aotearoa at Sydney (Received August 27, 7.0 p.m 1 SYDNEY, August 27. The flying boat, Aotearoa arrived here at 3.5 on Saturday afternoon from England. She probably leaves early oi! Monday morning for Auckland.

A move is being made by the New Zealand Dental Association to arouse the interest of the Government and of the public generally in measures and care to combat dental decay, with particular emphasis on the prevention of decay through correct dietetic and living habits in young children under school age. A meeting of members of the Association held at Christchurch last week was addressed by Professor J. R. Burt (president of the Association, and Associate-Professor of Dentistry at Otago University). It is understood a committee has been set up to further the matter, the dentists seeing an opportunity to combine in a campaign lor education in the care of the teeth and the prevention of decay with the operation oi the Social Security scheme in conjunction with civic co-operation.—Press Assn.
