Shipping agents to-dav expressed concern stating a serious position had arisen end that it was general throughoul the North Island There is a peak de rrand for trucks. This was stated bj --tnt’onmaster at New Plymouth Mr L. H. C. Smith, to be the reasor for the position, which has an effec also on waterside workers, who com nlain that there is not enough worl for them to do.
