FIJI BUDGET
(Received December 1, 9.10 p.m.) SUVA, December 1. The Fiji Legislative Council has budgeted for an expenditure of i 1,090,387 in 1939. The estimated revenue is £854,148, and the estimated expenditure £847,928 leaving a surplus of £6220. 'The expenditure is to be met front surplus balances of £242,459. Excess expenditure over revenue is to be met from surplus balances of £236,239.
