Report of Marriage
PROVES A FABRICATION.
LONDON, November 28.
A denial is given to the report published as from the Berlin correspondent of the British United Press that Sir Oswald Mosley was married on December 4, 1937, to Miss Diana Mitford, sister of Miss Unity Mitford (an associate of Herr Hitler) in the reception room of Herr Hitler’s private offices, Fuehrer. Building, Munich, when Herr Hitler was best man; and also that the Lord Mayor of Munich, Herr Karl Fiehler, solemnised the marriage and filed the certificate privately at the City- Hall. The British Union of Fascists issued a statement denying that Sir O. Mosley married Diana Mitford. It affirms that the Munich document “does not exist or it is a forgery.” ' GERMAN OFFICIAL DENIAL. BERLIN, November 28. Official quarters emphatically deny that Hitler acted as best man at a wedding, which is supposed to have taken place at Munich between Sir O. Mosley and Miss Mitford.' •
