SPORTS MEETING
SATURDAY NEXT.
The sports meeting postnoned from Saturday, November 19, will be resumed at Victoria Park on Saturday next, when the following programme will be run off:—
Amateur Track Events:—.loo yards men; 120 yards men; 440 yards men; 880 yards men; 100 yards ladies. Mixed relay race four of 110 yards. Cycling Events:— One mile and two miles: junior cycling (17 years and under); one mile and half mile. Events are also provided for primary and secondary .school pupils. An excellent afternoon, tea will be dispensed and a sweets stall and booth will also be open. Something quite novel to-Greymouth will be the Minia-' ture Railway, which will provide entertainment for children and adults alike.
The competition, in view of the local sporting revival} is certain to be keen, and with favourable weather their should be a large attendance of visitors and townspeople.
