RAILWAY DISASTER
IN SOUTH CHINA. 300 REPORTED DEAD. lAust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received May 19, 5.5 p.m.) HONG KONG, May 19. It is reported that three hundred persons were killed in a head-on train collision on the Canton-Hankow railway. The cause of the accident is not known but it is stated that there are several railway officials in custody.
