General Cedillo last night retired from the MeMxican Army List, at his own request, following his refusal to take over the command of the Michoacan State Military Zone. Ostensibly his refusal was because of illness.

Prefcident Cardenas gave General Cedillo a personal guarantee, while at the same time he demanded that General Cedillo place all of the arms and munitions in the territory in the hands of the Federal authorities. President Cardenas’ action in coming to the heart of a territory that has been reported to be ready for revolt, has thrilled his supporters throughout the nation.
