Hughes, for two thousand guineas, won its first race in Australia, to-day, the Flying Welter Handicap, at the Warwick Farm meeting New Zealand horses filled all places in the Warwick Handicap. Racing at Tamworth to-day, Limoux won the Mornington Handicap, of nine furlongs, from Sedunum and Lulcedo, in 1.52 1-5, a course record. Housemaker was unplaced.
