Il is all the more pleasing that after twenty-three years’ continuous service you placed me at the head of the poll. I have done my utmost to further the interests of our port and district in every possible way, and the support that, you have accorded me shows that my actions, while in lhe responsible position of Chairman of the Greymouth Harbour Board, have met. with your approval.
