PUBLIC NOTICES. MAYORALTY ELECTION. T wish to thank very sincerely all those electors who supported me on Wednesday, and all those members of the Citizens’ Committee, and the other workers (many unknown to me personally) who worked so hard to secure a successful issue in the contest for the Mayoralty and the Borough Council. My aims will be first to put the Borough finances on a sound footing, and then to secure the progressive improvement of all parts of the borough on solid lines. F. A. KITCHINCHAM. MAYORAL ELECTION. t wish to thank heartily my supporters who voted for me on Wednesday; also those who were with me in spirit, and the numerous friends who were’ bound to a party vote, yet wished me well. I enjoyed the whole election immensely. With the help of my splendid committee, 1 gave by best efforts and fought cleanly, and for this reason alone, am well pleased with the campaign. I regret the people in the suburbs did not reward my work as much as I expected, but I hope for better support in the future. When opportunity knocks at the door, I intend to again offer my services to Greymouth, and to do my share in pushing our town further along the road to progress.
