WEST COAST TOURNEY. In ideal weather conditions, play was continued yesterday in the West Coast croquet tournament. The handicap singles and doubles were taken a further stage, and the Silver Buttons competition was commenced. The tournament will continue this morning, when the Silver Buttons competition will be advanced, and the finals of the handicap singles and doubles will be played. Results of yesterday’s play were as follows:— Handicap Singles. (Six bisques and under.) Mrs Hunter (54) defeated Mrs Warnes (4), 26/9; Mrs Henry (2) defeated Mrs Faulkner (44), 26/15; Mrs Whibley (1) defeated Mrs Robertson (34), 26/22; Mrs McCracken (4) defeated Mrs Kernahan (54), 26/7; Mrs Moss (5) defeated Mrs Hunter (54), 26/15. Handicap Doubles. Mesdames Kernahan and Huntei (54) defeated Mrs Hore and Miss Hambleton (44), 26/4. Mesdames Pepper and Henry (3) defeated Mesdames Hannan and Logan (44), 26/17. Silver Buttons. Section A. Mrs Whibley (Greymouth) defeated Mrs McCracken (Runahga), 26/21.
