LAKE BRUNNER CLUB. The second round for the Beban Cup handicap flatty race was held on Lake Brunner, on Sunday afternoon. The weather was overcast with light showers, but there was a large attendance of spectators. Results were: — Boys’ Flatty Race (14 years and urn der). —Second Round: F. Klempel (5 sec.) 1; K. Klempel (20 sec) 2, R Dense (7 sec.) 3. Also started: D Klempel (3 sec), F. Hines (30 secs.), W. Phillipson (20 sec.).
Beban Cup.—First Heat: E. Densd jnr., 1, C. Kennedy 2, J. Bryant 3. Also started: E. Hocking. Second Heat: W. De Lore 1, A. Dense 2, C Beardsley 3. Also started: L. Rankin. Final: A. Dense (5 sec.) 1, W De Lore (15 sec.) 2, G. Beardsley (15 sec.) 3. Also started: J. Bryant (13), C. Kennedy (13), E. Dense, jnr., (scr.).
