DRAMA EVENING

TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT. The Women’s Institute of the Westland Province will present a drama evening in the Greymouth Town Hall this evening at 7.30 p.m. The first presentation will be by the Runanga W.E.A. A team, entitled "Little Glass Houses.” The players will be Mrs. Orpington (Mrs. B. Augustus Simpkins) a young curate, (Mrs. Turner); Miss Agatha Dudley-Smith (of doubtful age) (Miss Rene Woollett); Miss Si san Dudley-Smith (of doubtful age) (Mrs. Gilmore); Mrs. DudleySmith (their mother) (Mrs. Dixon). “A Family Affair” will be presented by the Runanga W.I. and the cast comprises Ellen the maid (Mrs. Wafer); a widow (Mrs. Gillally); Mrs Pike (Mrs. Winstanley); Mrs. Rundle (Mrs. Hambsley); Marjory Tranber (Mrs. Scott); Mrs. Tranber (Mrs Swan). The Nelson Creek W.I. feature in “A Family Group” in the following roles:—Grandma (Mrs. Tuck); Emily (mother,) (Mrs. Donnellan); Harry (father) (Miss Joy Tuck); Aunt Maria (Miss Reta Jones); Ede (daughter) (Miss Doreen O’Brien); The photographer (Miss Joyce Smith).

“Granny makes up her Mind” is the Greymouth W.I. second presentation and the cast will be:—Granny Arnold (Mrs. Sheard); Mrs. Bradley (Mrs. Brown); Mrs. Grainger (Mrs. Gilmore); Joan Arnold (baby) (Mrs. Payne); Marjory Arn'old (Mrs. Hutchison); Mrs. Arnold (Mrs. Green). Hokitika W.I. will present “Show Curtain” and the cast will be:—Malvinia Hathaway (Mrs. Allon Carr); Freda Richmond (her secretary), (Miss Hazel Perry); Dorothy Trew (Mrs. R. Paterson); Delia Trew (her daughter) Mrs. J. Pretson); Alice Hall, M.A. 0.8. E., manager of the Circle Theatre (Miss Edith Knight)”; Slope (an old dresser (Mrs. Hector Davidson). “Far Far Away”, will be presented by the Runanga W.E.A.’s B team, which comprises:—Mrs. Lodslore (Mrs • S.
