Then they went to join the remnant of their father’s band in the mountains. BRITISH POLICEMAN SHOT. WHEN TRYING TO ARREST ARABS. (Received November 29, 9.20 p.m.) JERUSALEM, November 29. A British constable, named Pearce, was shot dead while engaged with a police patrol, in attempting to arrest an Arab gang, which had fired on a lorryload of Jews, near Nazareth.
