WHAKATANE PAPER MILLS. WHAKATANE, November 26. The annual meeting of the shareholders of the Whakatane Paper Mills, Ltd., was held-at the company’s office in Whakatane, to-day. About 100 shareholders from all parts of New Zealand attended. The managing director, Mr H. A. Horrocks, reviewed the last year’s operations, and explained the progress of the construction of the mill which, he said, would be operative in five months. Mr Horrocks replied to numerous questions to the satisfaction of all present. The meeting concluded with a unanimous vote of confidence in the directors.
