TARANAKI CHAMPIONSHIPS. [Per Press Association]. NEW PLYMOUTH, September 16. The Taranaki Badminton Championships concluded to-night. The results of the finals were as follows:— Men’s Singles:—Speeding beat D. Therkleson 15/5, 15/3. Women’s Singles: —Miss Dempsteß (Waikato) beat Miss Wade (Auckland) 12/16, 11/6, 11/4. Men’s Doubles: —-Shale and Dalhmore (Auckland) beat Speeding and Little 15/9, 15/4. v _ Women’s Doubles: —Misses Dawe and Dempster beat Misses McCarthy and Moore 15/8, 15/7. Combined Doubles: —Shale and Miss Wade beat Dallimore and Miss Dempster 15/10, 15/5.
