COMMERCIAL
WOOL OUTLOOK GOOD. fAust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] LONDON, August 14. Stocks of crossbred wool in Bradford are the lowest in the memory of the oldest merchants. Between now and the end of November, the main source of supply will be the London sales. The small amount of wool carried forward suggests that there is hot much available in that quarter. There seems no doubt that the demand for crossbreds will again be substantial when the selling season opens. In addition to the Home demand the Continent can scarcely hold off. Japan’s requirements are likely to be increased rather than decreased as a result of the Chinese—Japanese war. As an indication of the acute position in Bradford various firms normally trading in overseas crossbreds, bought Home-grown wool at sales in various parts of the United Kingdom.
