KEN BALCHIN CUP. The following fixtures for the Ken Balchin Cup have been arranged for Saturday next at the Recreation Ground:— / Te Rama v. Mawhera, 1.15 p.m. (Messrs Smith and Hardie). Pacific v. Cobden, 2.15 p.m. (Messrs McDonnell and Youngson). Wesley a bye. To enable the so.le selector to' a team to play Canterbury at Christchurch on Saturday, August 21, a trial game will be played at 3.15 p.m. between teams which will be announced to-morrow. The umpires will be Messrs McDonnell and Butler.
