GIANT WOMAN
A Court-room Comedy VIENNA, August 4. Charged with slandering the manageress of the show where she is appearing, a seven footer, Fraulein Gisela,' claimed t? be the world’s tallest woman, was forced to bow her head to enter the Court. She had called the world’s fattest sisters in her defence, but the larger was unable to climb the stairs to The Courtroom. The lesser, weighing half a ton, managed to climb up, helped by several strong men. She squeezed through the door and collapsed panting at the Bench. Four midgets were also witnesses, but all the effort was in vain, when it was found the giantess was able to speak only Hungarian, and as no interpreter was present, an adjournment was necessary.
