NEW RIVER. The official return of gold won by New River dredge during the week ended July 29th., was 27 ozs. from 10,000 yards for 120 hours. WAITAHU. The Waitahu Gold Mining ■ Company, Limited, reports that the final washup of No. 13 paddock was completed 30th. July, 1937, for a return of 43 ozs. 10 dwts. for 15 shifts of eight hours each. Goldfields dredge return was 43 oz. 19 dwt. i MATAKI JUNCTION. The Mataki Junction return for the week ended July 29 was 81 ounces of smelted gold for 126 hours and 24 thousand yards dredged. MATAKI. AUCKLAND, August 2. Mataki dredge return for the week ended Ist instant was 24 ozs. for 129 hours’ work, and 7,500 yards of material treated.
