LEAGUE FOOTBALL
INANGAHUA SUB-CENTRE. Mr C- Coxall presided at the weekly meeting of the Inangahua Rugby League Sub-Centre- It was resolved to ask country referees and clubs <to appoint two timekeepers for matches played in their district- Messrs CMcElwee, R- Davis and S- Whitehea were appointed as senior selectors, and Mr McElwee was appointed as chairman. Junior clubs are to be aske»l to forward nominations, for junior selectors- It was decided <thalt the White Horse Cup (senior) and Morris Cup (junior) competitions be of three rounds. The previous resolution regarding the Knock-out competition was rescinded, and it was decided that bo)th ithe senior and junior Knockout Cups be of one round competitions. It was resolved that no transfers be granted a s from June 1 unless in the case of a player changing his place of abode- The seven-a-side tournament proposed for King’s Birthday was cancelled, and i|t was decided to play dub fixtures on that date- The following fixtures were drawn up:— June s—-Senior:5 —-Senior: Waiuta v- Reefton at Waiuta, 2-45 (R- Davis); Waratah v- Junction ait Reefton, 2.45 (I- EScotjt). Junior: Junction v- Reefton at Junction, 2-45 (S- Whitehead); Grey Valley v. Waiuta at Ikamatua, 2-45 (J- Letham)June 9 (King’s Birthday)—Senior: Waratah v- Reefiton at Reefton 2.45 (I- E. Scotjt); Junction v- Waiuta at Junction, 2-45 Whitehead). Junior: Waiuta v- Junction at Waiuta. 2-45 (J. Nicolson); Reefton v- Grey Valley at Reefiton, 1-30.
