Nevertheless the family limitation authorities arc disappointed with the results of the larger families campaign for the 1936 total represents only 19.2 babies per thousand of the population, whereas the rate in 1920 was 25.9, The new German criminal code provides imprisonment for all co-respon-dents and for adulterers, and it provides penalties for the advocates of family limitation.
