REEFTON NOTES
(Our Own Correspondent). REEFTON, A?frch 4. Mr H. Williams, of the railway staff, Reefton, has left on holiday for Dunedin. During his absence, Mr Rogers will fill his position. Mrs King and Miss L. King returned on Tuesday, after a short holiday spent in Wellington. Miss King resumed her duties at the National Bank yesterday. The Greymouth-Reefton morning train arrived nearly an hour late. This was, we understand, due to a mishap to the engine, and necessitated a wait until another locomotive was sent from Greymouth. The quarterly meeting of -the Motueka Licensing Committee was held at the Courthouse, Reefton, at noon today, there being present Messrs Ferner (chairman), Lynch and Noble. The police reports showed that no complaints were registered. The application of Mr P. J. Sullivan for a permanent transfer of license for the Criterion Hotel to Mr A. J. Butler was granted. This, was all the business.
