AUDITOR-GENERAL. .NELSON, March 3The death occurred this afternoon, with unexpected! suddenness, at the re. sidenee ,of his son, Captain Campbell, of Colonel G. F. G. Campbell, Controller and-Auditor.General. He was on a business tour of the South Island, and arrived at Nelson on Thursday, from Westport, and was visaing • his son, Captain Campbell, of Stoke, Nelson. Yesterday he paid a visit to Motueka, partly on business, anidi partly to vfsit the locality of his birth, and he was to have gone on to Blenheim to. morrow. He was apparently in per. feet, health to-day, but this afternoon he was taken suddenly ’ill, and passed peacefully Last week ho visited Grey mouth.
