WELLINGTON, March 3- 1 A warning that it was the ■sibility of licensees to see that tner was no gaming on hotel prem.ses was issued by Mr Wyvern Wihon, 5.M.,, at the quarterly meeting of the Ewens ing Committee, after Sub-Inspectoi Fox had stated that,, recently three bookmakers had been charged wth betting in hotel premises in AuckMr Wyvern Wilson said that lately there had been a great many convictions for gaming in Auckland, which led one to suppose that there had been a return of marked prosperity to the country. However, men had been wasting their wages in some instances. Sustenance men were wasting money in gambling. Licensees should see that- 'this did not take place at hotel premises.
