GOLDMINING

CHAIN OF MINES LIMITED. The Company’s Manager reports as follows fo r the week ended 12th October, 1936.

The following is a laboratory concentration test which I carried out during the week, the samples were taken, from the eastern section of the sunbeam lode, the true average sample assayed £7 15s 4d per ton. The recovery was at the rate of 90.23 per cent or £7 Is 4d per ton. The l° ss! in the residue was at the rate of 9-77 per cent or 14s per ton. The processes involved in the test included flotation by aeration without the aid of reagents, the concentrate was 5 per cent, of the total ore treated, and' assayed £l4l 6s 9d per ton.
