Further Shootings (Aus. & N.Z, Cable Assn.) JERUSALEM, October 19. Pleading guilty, four Arabs were sentenced to 14 years’ imprisonment at Nazareth Assizes, for the murder of a British policeman, Mott. A communique by the High Commissioner in Palestine, issued on Saturday, refers to the firing on a patrol of the 2nd Battalion of The Buffs, near Milya. village, in the Acre Sub-district. The communique stated that tbs military, in co-operation with aircraft, dispersed the assailants, who .are believed to have been Druses from Syria. Later, it was established that they were highwaymen and not. political rebels. It is believed that three casualties were inflicted by the troops. One British officer and one private were slightly ■wounded. Early on Saturday morning, in Telaviv, two Arabs were shot and wounded by unknown assailants, who escaped. The condition of one of th® Arabs is serious.
