583 BOMBAY CASUALTIES Gaol and Floggings (RIOTING 'CONTINUES. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) BOAJBAY October 19. Though there were fewer deaths in the rioting yesterday, looting and incendiarism flared up with unprecedent ed ferocity. Three Hindu temples were burnt. The police were obliged to fire on crowds, mostly hooligans. The toll of the riots is now fifty killed and 4.90 injured.
