NAZI REGIMENTATION
Extended to the Dead (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) BERLIN, October 16. The latest manifestation of general Nazi regimentation is a decree that all gravestones must be the same shape and size. Relatives are left only* the choice of material. All new cemeteries must have an open space for funeral parades. (Received October 18, at 7.39 p.m.) BERLIN, October 17. Owing to high quotations for foreign securities, which are regarded as dangerous and tin justified, the German Currency Control Board has prohibited dealings in them, unless specially* licensed. DANZIG, October 16. Simultaneously’ with the dissolution of the Social Democrat Party, the police arrested two hundred of its leading members. Opposition to the Nazi Government new seems completely* cowed, and there arc no signs of resistance. It is obvious that the Nazis are determined there shall not be opposition to their leadership in the State. It was reported from Berlin on Thursday' that the Nazi president of the Danzig Senate (Herr Arthur Greiser), had dissolved the Social Democrat Party on the grounds that it was illegally' in possession of arms and that it was also violating the sabotage regulations. In carrying out the order to dissolve the party, the police alleged the existence of a plot for a civil war. This action followed the conviction of five Socialist Deputies for the illegal possession of arms. It was revealed that there had been eighty nine further arrest'-
